Austin, Texas, USA

Lynda Boudreault, Ph.D. is a documentary linguist and independent researcher specializing in Zoquean languages, especially Nɨntajɨy, spoken in Veracruz, Mexico. The personal stories that drive language documentation for speakers, as well as researchers, have always interested her. These days, Lynda focuses on the narratives of speakers and writes about language research from their perspective. When she’s not immersed in language research and writing, she enjoys teaching the magic of science through gardening to grade schoolers and spending time in the woods with her family.
