Deborah Chua

Deborah Chua is a Singaporean who is doing or has completed her PhD (depending on when you read this!) at the School of Linguistics and Applied Language Studies, Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. Her favourite pastimes of listening in on people’s conversations and inspecting the written word have served her well in learning the sounds of new lands while getting reacquainted with the sounds of old lands.
